We’re looking for a dedicated and community-minded individual to take on the role of Thrift Store Manager for an exciting new venture. The existing toy shop is closing its doors and will be transformed into a community thrift store, where citizens can donate items and pick up goods free of charge. This store is built on the principles of sharing, sustainability, and mutual support.
About the Role:
As the store manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the thrift store. This is a hands-on, dynamic position that requires organizational skills, creativity, and a strong connection to the community. You’ll play a vital role in keeping the store running smoothly and ensuring it remains a welcoming and helpful space for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
Store Maintenance:Restock shelves regularly with newly donated items.
Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Design and maintain the interior layout and aesthetic of the store to enhance the shopping experience.Outreach and Promotion:
Advertise the shop through the news feed, walking around, broadcasts to raise awareness.
Actively seek out donations by engaging with the community and encouraging contributions.Store Operations:
The shop will operate 24/7 with access managed via a hidden bot linked to the turf.
As the manager, you will have full control over the store, including all standard turf management tools and permissions.Token Donation Management:
Collect and process incoming donations.
